...is a literary genius, seriously. I mean, I was discussing this with my friend yesterday, about how the Narnia series was a bit boring when you read it, but only because he wrote it in such a factual way...But now that I think about it, it's probably because that was his only children's series (unfortunately) and because he mostly wrote papers on Christianity and such...but still...Even though the books are written in a boring way, you still can't put them down. xP

I just think the series was amazingly thought out and the movie adaptions are close to perfect, because you can really fit everything that happened in the books into the films (maybe because they're so short...who knows?). Anyway, I think I might actually be starting to ramble, so...What do you guys think? ^.-

I love Narnia. I have never found anything boring about the books though, either way they're great. One of my favorite scenes is when Aslan creates Narnia, it's so beautiful and amazing. That's the main thing about the movies that bothers me, they skipped The Magician's Nephew and that was the second best in the series if you ask me. It's funny because when I was younger I thought that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader would be stupid so I never read it but then I needed something to read so I resigned to reading it and it turned out to be my favorite in the series. I loved when the mouse (I know his name but I'm aftraid to try to spell it ^^) Finally let Lucy hug him when he was leaving.

Reepicheep's so cute!

The books in themselves weren't boring...like, the plots and everything were so great, but it was just the way he wrote it...It was all so factual and practically no adventure. Except in "The Horse and His Boy", that was from a different POV, sort of...There was just more feeling in it. It just seemed like he couldn't really connect to the characters he brought up, even though he totally could.

I dunno...I still love the series and I still think Caspian and Lucy should've gotten together. Rofl. I hated the last movie where Susan and Caspian kissed. Grr. Haha.

Yeah, but the second movie was better than the first. It was so cute when Reepicheep was pretending to be injured so Lucy would give him her stuff to try to grow back his tail. It was also cute when the mice tied up the cat. ^^

I loved the cat part. And the end when Lucy hugged Trumpkin...awe.

I did not like the whole Caspian/Susan thing, though. Caspian is a Lucy guy...haha. Or at least, I thought so. They had a connection in the Voyage...^^

i read all the narnia books when i was a kid.
i'm not really into that kind of books though.
i've always been into the more realistic books not the talking animal ones.
