dafont.com
Okay, so as you all know DaFont is a website where you can download fonts for your computer. I downloaded some just last night in fact. But if any of you have tried and it didn't work, I know your pain, I know it soooo well. But last night the lovely Arcane on my forum taught me how to do it! So now I will pass on my knowledge to you so that you may make lovely graphics with great fonts. Surry, this is mostly for you since you have like 0 good fonts, now you can get all the ones you want.
1: Go to dafont.com and find a font you like
2: Plug in a flash/thumb drive that has open space
3: Click the download PC/MAC OS button
4: Save the font to the thumb drive (it should be a zipped file)
5: Open you folder on you flash drive that you saved it to
6: Click on it and a new window should come up with the little icon thing for the font
7: On the left menu of the window there should be a choice that says 'extract all files' or 'unzip' or something, click that.
8: After it has finished unzipping on the left menu click "move this file"
9: Move it to the section 'Fonts' under 'Windows' under 'Local Disc' under 'My Computer'
10: Shazam, you have a new font. It also works with a burnable CD if you don't have thumb drive I hear.
Note: This is for Windows XP I have no idea what you have to do for other systems like Windows Vista or Mac or whatever...
